Linda Lamb is an owner/Director who specialises in family law. She is a member of Resolution (First for Family Law) and a Resolution Accredited Specialist (Private Children and Cohabitation), Collaborative Lawyer and Mediator accredited with the Law Society. She is also an IFLA Arbitrator in relation to Children cases. 

In particular, Linda is trained to involve children within the mediation process where appropriate and is a respected Children lawyer.

A recognised expert in the field of family law, Linda holds the ‘leading individual’ status with Chambers UK for her expertise in children matters and mediation work with both adults and children. Chambers 2017 says Linda is ““She is well versed in the facts of the case and advises clients in a sensible way,” according to sources, who add that she provides “detailed guidance through complex processes while maintaining a steady purpose.”

She has also been recognised by Legal 500 as a leading figure in mediation work, and is the only Sussex lawyer to be ranked in the South East section for mediations involving children.

Linda was head of the family department at a regional firm before starting up Family Law Partners with her co-Directors Robert Williams and Alan Larkin.

Prior to qualifying as a Solicitor (originally in Scotland in 1993 before qualifying in England in 1995) Linda was a District Nurse and Community Midwife in Scotland. She has recently been readmitted to the Solicitors Roll in Scotland.

Linda has particular expertise in Mediation and cases where issues arise relating to the welfare of children. Her specialism in this area means she has a clear understanding of how to resolve extremely sensitive client issues.

Outside of work Linda is passionate about skiing, enjoys spending time with her family and visiting Scotland.
