Family Law Partners has been shortlisted in the Law Society Excellence Awards 2016, for Excellence in Technology.
Now in its 10th year, the prestigious award scheme recognises the leading work, innovation and quality happening across the legal profession.
The Excellence in Technology award is hotly contested, as law firms look to make increasing use of technology to improve efficiencies, support better client service and deliver services in new ways. The category ‘celebrates the innovative marriage of technology and law in the provision of services for clients. Alongside innovation and client service the judges will be looking for a law firm who offer services that promote access to justice, are accessible, secure and data protection compliant’.
Family Law Partners has been shortlisted for its development of a bespoke online legal triage questionnaire, which was designed to gather essential information about each client’s situation before a first consultation. Based on a conditional logic system, the tool transformed how the firm engages with their clients from the very first meeting. This innovation will be available to the wider family law community in the form of Siaro, later this year.
Alan Larkin, Director, said: “we are thrilled to be shortlisted in such an exciting category. At FLP we see innovation in technology as crucial in delivering legal services in the future. It remains the key strategic driver for us in meeting client demands to access affordable, bespoke legal advice, and to provide alternative dispute resolution services such as mediation, collaborative law and arbitration. We are delighted that our investment – passion – for unique technology has led to our being shortlisted”.
The award ceremony takes place in London on Thursday 20th October.
