Surrey Resolution’s Family Law Day is taking place on Wednesday 17th May 2017 at Sandown Racecourse.
The event which is set up and run by Surrey Resolution and supported by a number of firms and leading family lawyers in the region, combines a unique training and networking event.
Delegates will receive a “Finance update” from David Hodson OBE, followed by talks from 1 Garden Court and Smith and Williamson on subjects including Tax, Surrogacy and Alternative Family Arrangements, finance and children.
The event, now in its 14th year will also include the opportunity to observe a Mock Financial Dispute Resolution (FDR) focusing on the categorisation of assets with judgment by Janet Bazley QC.
Julian McEvoy, Consultant with Family Law Partners and Chair of Surrey Resolution, said:
“Every year, Surrey Family Law Day goes from strength to strength. This year’s programme is particularly exciting as we are joined by David Hodson OBE. The organisers have worked hard to put together an excellent programme, combining practice with theory in the form of a mock FDR. I am looking forward to spending the day with my fellow family law peers from across the region and beyond”.
