In her role as Paralegal, Darcy supports the busy Horsham team to ensure that clients are fully supported and well-informed throughout the entirety of their matter. Her role encompasses a variety of tasks crucial to the smooth functioning of the team, from keeping records up to date, compiling Court bundles and drafting legal documents.
Empathetic, professional, and driven, Darcy prides herself on being approachable, responsive, and genuinely supportive to every client she works with. She understands that family law clients are often facing some of the most emotional and uncertain periods in their lives, and she strives to provide not only legal guidance but also clarity, reassurance, and a steady hand throughout the process.
In her current role, Darcy assists across a broad range of family law matters, including financial settlements, children disputes, and cohabitation issues. She works closely with clients to ensure they feel heard and informed at every stage, and is committed to building strong, trusting relationships. Whether drafting documents, preparing cases, or supporting court proceedings, Darcy approaches each matter with care, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Alongside her day-to-day work, Darcy is currently undertaking the CILEX Foundation Stage Qualification as part of her journey toward becoming a Chartered Legal Executive. She is actively involved with CILEX and is passionate about promoting awareness of alternative qualification routes into law. By pursuing this path, she aims to demonstrate that becoming a lawyer is not limited to traditional university routes and that vocational training can lead to rewarding and impactful legal careers. Darcy is a strong advocate for accessibility and diversity within the legal profession and believes in inspiring others who may not have taken the conventional route.
Darcy has a love for travel often making the most of long weekends abroad or hopping on a flight straight after work. When Darcy isn’t travelling, she enjoys unwinding with a good book.
