As a member of our Operations team, George draws on his experience in sports coaching and teamwork to provide first-class support to our legal team and clients alike.
George studied Community Sports Coaching at the University of Chichester and coached various multi-sports clubs whilst at school, college and university. He lived in Melbourne for 3 months in 2016/17 where he played and coached cricket. George has taught PE, as well as coached, in breakfast, lunch, and after-school clubs at various schools in East Sussex for over 2 years before looking for a change of direction in his career.
George joined the Family Law Partners team on a work experience placement in autumn 2021 looking to gain experience in a commercial environment and was invited to join the team on a permanent basis having demonstrated exceptional operational skills as well as a team-led focus.
A consistent theme in George’s roles is a talent for communicating with people of all ages, backgrounds and cultures, where he thrives on building good relationships with clients and colleagues. He has a range of key skills – communication, problem solving, empathy and professionalism – that support his role in Operations, where accuracy and efficiency is essential for the smooth running of a legal team but also, crucially, supporting an exceptional experience for our clients.
Outside of work, George is passionate about playing and watching sport, particularly cricket. He enjoys good food and restaurants, travel and spending time with his friends and family.
