More About Grace

Grace was originally attracted by the academic rigour of law and the opportunity that it would provide her to consistently challenge herself across a broad spectrum of complex issues. In particular, she was interested in not only becoming a specialist in her field, able to concisely explain a multifaceted area of law in a way in which clients could understand and appreciate, but also becoming a chief confidant to clients, forming relationships built on confidence and trust to ensure the best outcomes can be achieved during what could be one of the most challenging points in their lives.

Since deciding that this was the path she wanted to pursue, Grace has thrown herself into the legal industry, securing a variety of legal work experience including within the employment, real estate and business law sectors. However, since attending a mini-pupillage with family barrister, Ruth Kirby KC, Grace found an affinity within family law which led her to pursuing her career within the field.

Grace is looking forward to the working alongside cases involving the intellectual challenge of matrimonial finances and using her aptitude for numbers along with her personable nature to balance client emotions with a commercial reality. Having worked in a children’s nursery throughout university, she is also equally interested in children cases and understands the importance of finding age-appropriate solutions.

Grace is a keen member of Resolution and currently sits on the committee of West Sussex Yres.

Outside of work and her studies, Grace enjoys running, playing hockey, walking her three labradoodles and spending time with family and friends.
