Kate Rivera and Laura Ward, Founders of Raw Marketing, have worked with Family Law Partners as strategic marketing advisors since the firm was first launched in 2011.

As Consultants to the firm, Raw Marketing’s remit – and passion – is to ensure that Family Law Partners is the leading family law team in the region and to continue to develop a brand that is different, trusted and admired by clients and peers alike. Laura, having worked as an in-house legal services marketer for many years, had worked with Family Law Partners’ Founding Directors in a previous role and joined the team as a Consultant before the launch to establish a brand and website presence that has evolved into the award-winning firm it is today.

Kate and Laura advise Family Law Partners on its strategic and tactical marketing plans and provide support across the team and the growing number of hubs and Consultants.

As well as providing timely, tactical marketing support and running all on and offline marketing activity, they also lead on key flagship marketing projects, including; legal directory submissions, awards, website relaunches and client journey and internal team engagement initiatives.

In addition to legal services, Raw Marketing’s experience spans other industry sectors including publishing, online retail, manufacturing, as well as charities. As senior marketers Kate and Laura have led major campaigns for local, national and global brands, designed to engage both B2B and B2C audiences. Their combined expertise spans the whole marketing mix, and as qualified marketers with the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), they deliver clients a ‘complete marketing service’ that combines strategy with implementation and analysis.

Laura’s extensive marketing experience spans a number of industries including professional services, digital learning and publishing. She has led high-impact campaigns and designed marketing strategies for leading global organisations, delivering increased sales, greater levels of brand awareness and customer and staff engagement. She believes creating a marketing-led culture is key to the commercial success of all businesses, regardless of their shape or size.

Kate has a passion for marketing strategy and thrives on hard-work and detailed analysis to deliver her clients success. Prior to founding Raw, Kate’s work experience includes B2B and B2C consumer marketing with branding, PR, SEO, PPC, ecommerce conversion optimisation, email marketing and project management in the mix.
