More about Lucy

Lucy studied Law at King’s College London and qualified in 2017. Her experience includes over 4 years with a national full-service law firm based in Sussex/Kent and prior to that working in London, gaining experience in two reputable family law teams.

Her skills involve advising clients on all aspects of family law including legal issues arising from the breakdown of relationships, whether married or unmarried, divorce and finances, with many of her cases involving family businesses, inherited assets, substantial pension funds, personal injury claims and international elements, often requiring consideration of tax issues and the need for expert reports

Lucy can offer guidance on all matters related to children including relocation and living and contact arrangements, with some of her cases covering abuse and parental alienation claims, with public law children cross-over, obtaining injunctions to protect against domestic violence and harassment, and occupation of the family home.

In terms of specialist financial legal advice, Lucy supports clients with wealth preservation in the form of pre and post nuptial agreements, as well as cohabitation agreements. She strives to achieve the best possible outcome for her clients by providing them with practical and empathetic advice, tailored to their individual needs and circumstances.

While she is committed to resolving matters outside of court, her considerable experience representing clients within court proceedings means clients are also supported should that be necessary. Lucy completed the Resolution Together training enabling her to work with and advise couples jointly and as a member of the family law organisation Resolution, she works to resolve family disputes in a constructive and non-confrontational manner.

Lucy finds great satisfaction in guiding her clients through challenging times, offering not only legal advice but also practical support and referrals to relevant resources, all with a focus on long-term solutions.

Lucy grew up and lives in Sussex. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her young family and taking countryside walks with her border terrier.
