Raj joined Family Law Partners in 2022 after working for a sole practitioner specialising in family law for 8 years where he started as a paralegal and worked his way up to qualifying as a solicitor.
Raj joined Family Law Partners in 2022 after working for a sole practitioner specialising in family law for 8 years where he started as a paralegal and worked his way up to qualifying as a solicitor.
During his time working in family law Raj has worked on a broad range of family law cases but mainly focusing on divorce and financial matters. In 2019 he achieved his first reported case with O’Dwyer v O’Dwyer [2019].
In addition to his family law experience, Raj has dealt with complex land law issues which required resolution, some of which were in a family law setting.
Raj has a particular passion and expertise in resolving financial disputes and particularly those involving unmarried couples where his land law and property experience greatly assists him.
Raj regularly contributes to the wider family law community having hosted several of our Family Law Hour debates on cohabitation and child maintenance top-up orders. Recently he has written an article in the Lexis Nexis’ Family Law Journal regarding the family home following his Blog on this.

Raj enjoys socialising with friends, staying fit, playing football and watching Manchester United regardless of how badly they are playing.
