Family Law Partners expand into London with arrival of City expert
Leading family lawyer Mark Harrop, previously of Collyer Bristow, joins Family Law Partners on 7 January 2019.
Leading City lawyer Mark Harrop joins leading South East practice Family Law Partners, heading up a new London base for the Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 ranked firm.
A trained family mediator and accredited collaborative law practitioner, Mark’s dispute resolution background and client-centric approach brings a refreshing take on family law to clients in the City – where the focus is invariably highly litigious. Mark said:

I find the firm’s commitment to dispute resolution, coupled with therapeutic support through a network of counsellors and family therapists, enormously exciting. Mark was one of a handful of family lawyers recognised as ‘rising stars of the private client professions’ by ePrivateClient magazine in their annual list of the ‘Top 35 Under 35’. He was also included in the 2018 Citywealth Leaders List of recommended wealth managers and advisers.
Well-known and respected among his legal peers for his forward-thinking views on family law and the profession, Mark sat for two years as chair of London YRes, representing the 500+ junior members of Resolution in London.
