Brighton Team Member
Hattie is a Senior Associate Solicitor and member of Resolution, based in our Brighton and London offices. She trained at a large City firm, noted for its expertise in family law. On qualification, she practised in London before joining Family Law Partners in early 2021.
She advises clients on all aspects of family law and has particular experience in high net worth, cross-jurisdictional disputes. She has also acted in complex finance cases where assets were held by one or more trusts, which were subsequently ordered to be joined to proceedings.
Earlier in her career, she was part of the legal team representing The Air Centre in the matter of Re TT, a case where the biological mother of a child wished to be recognised as the father on the birth certificate, having received a gender recognition certificate confirming he was male.
Hattie also has experience in a variety of children matters, including those where parental alienation is evident. Additionally, in obtaining Parental Orders for clients where children were born via surrogacy. Recently, she has acted for a client in an international child abduction case, which also involved securing emergency protective orders for her client against the husband for domestic abuse.
She also advises on pre and post nuptial agreements and cohabitation agreements.
Outside of work Hattie enjoys live music and travel, and is learning to play the guitar.
